- Jack McBrayer as Sharo , the main protogonist of the film. He is a red, anthropomorphic dragon who wears modern pirate outfit, blue jeans, and green bandanna. He resembles a humanoid version of Shoutmon from Digimon.
- Jessica Chastain as Princess Luna , a beautiful, white-colored cat who wears a blue bow, a light blue dress with white bloomers, thick, white sleeves, white bikini, and blue accents, and white slippers. She is Sharo's love interest. Her complexion is similiar to Gia the Jaguar and Lunamon.
- Peter Dinklage as Captain Darkheart , a muscular, gray-colored pig with a jaw similiar to Peg-leg Pete and the main antagonist.
